25th Forget Fairytales & Goth in Richmond

*I published the 25th "Forget Fairytales" comic today. I only started the comic back in January and am continually striving to perfect a signature style and sense of humor. As soon as I am finished with the academic year (May 8th), I will add new inventory. But right now I am busy with final papers/exams/projects, so I can only dedicate so much time to my personal creative projects! I'm trying not to stress out too much.

*I am still working on my fashion project "Goth in Richmond." I am not getting as many 'specimens' as I would have hoped, but I'm not giving up yet. I plan to add one from young filmmaker, Angelo Mike, today or early tomorrow. He and I have collaborated on a couple of projects before, including Kentucky Terrorism Preparedness. Our latest video will be available for public display within the next month. I'll be sure to tell you when.

*I am struggling to organize the 2009 Neo-Indie Arts Festival in Arlington, VA as I wrap up the school year. It is on June 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. If you want to volunteer/showcase your creative talents, please refer to the flyer here.

*My acting skills will be tried once again as I perform on as a gypsy fortune teller at a bachelorette party on May 9! I seriously have the best job in the world. Thank God for the world of freelance art and media. I promise to post photos on Facebook, my Flickr page, and my appropriate blogs.
